Funds provide educatioinal and personal support to women diagnosed with breast cancer at SVMC
Jacksonville, FL, August 6, 2008 - Dave Henry, President of the Winn Dixie Foundation, will present a check for $80,000 to St. Vincent’s HealthCare (SVHC) Chief Executive Officer Scott Whalen at 2:30 p.m., Thursday August 7, at the Breast Health Center at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Winn-Dixie's gift continues their support of St. Vincent’s Medical Center's Breast Health Advocate program funded by the St. Vincent’s HealthCare Foundation.
Winn-Dixie and St. Vincent's HealthCare Foundation enjoy a long-standing partnership providing support and advice to women diagnosed with breast cancer through St. Vincent's Breast Health Advocate program. The Breast Health Advocate provides educational and personal support to women diagnosed with breast cancer at St. Vincent’s Medical Center.
