St. Vincent's HealthCare is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system that has served the people of Jacksonville and the surrounding communities for more than 91 years.
SVHC is widely recognized for excellence in patient care. From delivering healthy babies to helping older adults through their final years with dignity, SVHC offers a continuum of care that is unsurpassed in North Florida. SVHC can do that because our physicians and associates are experts who take pride in living the mission of caring for the sick and poor.

St. Luke's Hospital, located on the Southside of Jacksonville, FL, will be added to SVHC. Outreach Ministries
While dedicated to serving all, SVHC places special emphasis on helping the poor and less fortunate. The award-winning outreach ministries go far beyond SVMC in caring for the community through programs such as the Mobile Health Outreach Ministry, Parish Nurse Ministry, School Nurse Program, and Seton Center for Women and Infants Health. Our Roots
Our mission is based in strong traditions of faith. Founded by the Daughters of Charity in 1916, SVHC is now part of Ascension Health, which was formed in 1999 when the Daughters merged their healthcare ministry with the Sisters of St. Joseph Health System. SVHC's Mission and Values form the framework of our commitment to patient care.
